About CompareToCoupon

CompareToCoupon collects the discount codes, sales and card offers that retailers advertise in the United States, the United Kingdom and India, and puts them on one page per store with the conditions spelled out — the minimum spend, the cap and the card a bank offer needs. In India it also compares the price of the same product across retailers.

Who runs it

The site is published by Kuntaka AI Labs (OPC) Private Limited, a company registered in India. Store pages are edited by Nishit Kumar, who decides which stores we cover and reviews corrections.

Where the offers come from

Offers are read automatically from public listings: other coupon and deal sites, and retailers' own offer and promotion pages. We do not receive offers from retailers in exchange for payment. Each offer keeps a record of where we read it, and our checker re-reads those pages every few hours. An offer that is no longer listed is taken down; a seasonal sale is removed once its event has passed.

Codes found on a retailer's own site are shown as codes. Where a coupon site only reveals a code after a click, we say that the store reveals it rather than printing a code we have not seen.

What the labels mean

  • Listed — the time the offer was last seen still advertised at its source. It confirms the offer is live, not that a code works.
  • Verified by a named person — someone tried it. Only these carry a name and a green tick, and there are few of them.
  • Worked / did not work — votes from readers who used the offer.

Where the prices come from (India)

Product prices are collected from retailer listings — Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital and others — through a third-party price feed, and stored with the time each price was read. Prices change quickly, so every price shows its date and the retailer's page is the final word. Where a retailer does not say whether a product is in stock, we show “stock not confirmed” rather than guessing. We now keep every price we observe, so product pages can show how a price has moved.

How offers are ordered

By what the data says: the size of the saving, whether there is a usable code, whether the terms are complete, and how recently the offer was listed. A retailer cannot pay to rank higher.

How the site makes money

Some links to retailers earn us a commission if you buy; you pay the same price. Our affiliate disclosure lists what that does and does not affect.

Corrections

If an offer has ended, a code fails or a price is wrong, use the “did not work” button on the offer — those reports are reviewed and the offer is corrected or removed.

Bank offers, first class

Store × card, because that is where the real discount hides

CompareToCoupon lists coupon codes, bank card offers and live prices for India's online stores, including AJIO, Amazon, Myntra, Nykaa and Netmeds. 2,315 offers across 46 stores are tracked right now, and every one shows when it was last verified, the minimum order, the maximum discount and the card it needs — so you can see what a coupon code really saves before checkout. Offers are re-checked every few hours and taken down when they stop appearing, and prices for phones, laptops and appliances are compared across retailers.
